ABOUT THE ROLE Responsible for the profit and loss contribution of the Aggregate, Asphalt & Construction business while upholding all company commitments, and executing a culture that holds health & safety as a core value. Based in Nanaimo, the successful candidate would be expected to execute business strategy, operational and commercial business plans, and provide leadership to all organizational resources within the designated market area. Areas of responsibility include safety, sales, marketing, efficient operations/production, road logistics, quality control, regulatory compliance, innovation and mine planning as well as strategic direction for the market area (competitive positioning, reserves growth, etc). The incumbent will proactively engage the support of the functional leaders and others to secure the long‑term growth vision for the market area. The incumbent will ensure that all products and services that touch the customer meet Amrize standards and are provided in the most efficient and effective manner. Overall the incumbent provides leadership and coaching to develop a performance culture and teams that will deliver results through implementation of the Amrize strategy. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH Safety: Champions health & safety by enforcing best practices, engaging employees in risk solutions, and driving corrective actions from audits. Leadership: Provides strategic leadership through coaching, performance management, and team development while ensuring clear goals, communication, and accountability. Operations Strategy: Directs plant production and efficiency by optimizing processes, managing costs, overseeing labor relations, and aligning with technical and safety standards. Sales, Logistics & Customer Focus: Leads sales and logistics processes, ensures compliance with pricing policies, manages key accounts and contracts, and contributes to company‑wide goals. Strategy & Planning: Utilizes KPIs and market intelligence to improve performance, drive long‑term business sustainability, secure resources, and expand revenue opportunities. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education: Masters in Business, Finance or Undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering preferred.     ABOUT THE ROLE The Territory Sales Managers overall responsibility is to develop and sustain a business strategy designed to expand/defend market share, provide basic technical support to Amrize customers, and to lead marketing and sales efforts within the territory.

    WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

    Develop the business strategy to achieve targets such as market share, market penetration, and technical leadership within the territory.

    Understand how to both determine and deliver a value proposition to customers.

    Develop plans to maximize the potential customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, through product expertise and investigating any concerns or issues that may arise.

    Maintain a pipeline of prospective accounts and their corresponding volume/material requirements.

    Coordinate advanced technical support within the territory via Amrize Technical Service Engineers/Specialists.

    Analyze market conditions, sales forecasts and business plans, manage customer-related data, as well as competitors' products and positioning.

    Develop, maintain and strengthen customer relationships. Inclusive of travel within designated territory to meet customers and prospective customers face to face.

    Utilize Amrize internal systems to maintain forecasts, pricing, and expense reporting.

    Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma. Field of Study Preferred: Business, Engineering, or related field.

    Required Work Experience: 5–7 years of sales experience is preferable, with 3-5 years being within a building materials or associated industry.

    Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Salesforce.

    Travel Requirements: 30-50%

    Demonstrate a commitment to a safe work environment by performing all work activities following the relevant safety policies and procedures.

    Strong computer and analytical skills to use sales platforms and translate data into usable information relevant to the success in your role.

    Ability to manage and make new relationships with customers and colleagues.

    Develop an effective call planning system to ensure adequate coverage.
