    The Role: As part of Honda’s Manufacturing Engineering Department (MED) within the Commercial Quality (CQ) team, you’ll play a vital role in upholding our reputation for world-class quality. In this hands-on position, you’ll lead investigations into production and market-related issues, identify root causes, and implement both short-term solutions and long-term improvements across our systems and processes. This hands-on role offers exposure to all Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM) plants and departments, deepening your knowledge of Honda’s engineering and manufacturing standards—from product design to quality assurance and control. Working closely with the Product Engineering Department, you’ll also support new model development and vehicle launches. We value collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Your ideas matter, curiosity is encouraged, and your growth is part of our success. The Pay: $38.70 / hour - $44.71/ hour plus over-time and bonuses. Responsibilities: Analyze product quality concerns to determine basic cause and root cause Develop and implement rapid containment actions for quality concerns Implement countermeasures, track and summarize activities Review product designs to ensure manufacturability Support/Lead a variety of HCM associates to resolve quality issues The Requirements: Completed post-secondary technical degree and/or diploma or minimum of 3 years equivalent related work experience Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint Job Related Must Haves: Willing and able to travel internationally or in North America by possessing a Canadian passport or B1 Visa. Must have a valid G/G2 Driver's License. Willing and able to work weekends and overtime sometimes on short notice. Willing and able to work shut-down periods. Preferred Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage projects / assignments requiring identification of objectives, resources and/or approaches. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; delivering presentations, preparing reports and leading meetings Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team Proven problem-solving ability with recent examples of root cause analysis in a Manufacturing Quality Environment. Proven countermeasure development involving vehicles, parts, and production processes Demonstrated knowledge of component and system tolerance stack-up analysis Experience with metal and plastics manufacturing including a good understanding of stamping, welding and injection molding processes Knowledge of coordinating measuring machines and metrology data analysis Demonstrated experience with CATIA V5/V6 for interpretation or analysis of designs Experience using SPC (Statistical Process Control) Honda of Canada Mfg.
