  • Warehouse Associate

    About the Role:
    We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate -- The successful candidate will be responsible for organization of a warehouse, and trackingincoming and outgoing packages on a daily basis. This role will require you work on inventorymanagement, shipping and receiving, placement and organization of the warehouse goods, andrelated administrative tasks. You will be part of a small team reporting to the WarehouseManager.
    Responsibilities:● Maintain the warehouse in a tidy, safe and efficient operating condition at all times● Maintain shipping and receiving documents (BOL, intake logs)● Maintain warehouse mapping (Where are things in the warehouse)● Ensure compliance with and follow operating procedures to achieve department objectives● Provide recommendations on process improvement and assist in implementation● Maintain the warehouse in a tidy, safe and efficient operating condition at all times● Manage and track incoming and outgoing shipments● Other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager What we’re looking for:● 2+ years of warehouse or related experience● Good computer skills i.e.: experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a must● Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly● Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in English● Forklift experience is a plusSkills & Abilities:● Reliable, honest and punctual● Ability to take direction, and work well with others● Ability to work with minimal supervision● Effective communication and interpersonal skills● High level of self-motivation and the ability to take initiative● Proactive approach: Identifies and solves problems● Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment● Strong attention to detail Work Schedule:Full-time (Monday to Friday) 9:00am - 5:00pm* OT will be required occasionallyExpected Pay Range:$18-$20 CAD per hour
