    This is an opportunity to build 0 to 1 product experiences at the intersection of many of today’s most transformative technologies. Work alongside top AI/ML engineering and product leaders to define requirements, collaborate with partners, solve technical challenges and launch our products.
    Requirements
    BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or Game Development 3+ years of Unity and/or Unreal Engine development experience 3+ years of technical experience as a game developer Exceptional product intuition, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Experience working with strategic partners and presenting to executives Passionate about learning and applying cutting edge AI research Understanding and experience with LLM prompt engineering Hacker mindset and ability to think outside the box Experience in programming AI, low-level networking, and audio is a big plus
    Responsibilities
    Work closely with our Product + Partnerships teams to ensure that critical partner projects are successful Solve deeply technical challenges related to AI character interactions and behaviors Work closely with C-level executives and industry leaders to understand business and product needs and translate them into clear product requirements for our platform and characters Translate partners’ feedback and requests into product requirements and roadmap, driving prioritization and pre- and post-launch execution Develop vision and prototype/pilot versions of next generation immersive experiences
    Remote location: British Columbia, Canada.
    The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is C$130,000 - C$190,000. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes bonus, equity and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including competencies and experience.

    About the Role
    We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), from Senior level and above, to join our team at Inworld AI with a focus on automation tools and pipelines for our QA, build, and release process in Unreal, Unity, NodeJS, and WebSDK client side applications. The ideal candidate would be someone who has worked in the game industry live service model and understands LLM functionality.
    Key Responsibilities: Design, create, and maintain automation tools that support our test, build, and release processes across multiple platforms (Unreal, Unity, NodeJS, and WebSDK). Create and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms. Propose and create QA tools and processes to speed up our testing. Collaborate with SDK developers, backend engineers, and the QA team to develop a unified automation and tools plan. Build and maintain QA demo test suites/rooms to demonstrate automation, new feature showcases, and performance testing.
    Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in software/game development with a focus on C++, C#, or similar programming languages and test automation. Experience working with Unreal or Unity game engines, including building, testing, and optimizing for performance. Hands-on experience with automation tools and CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

    Join our dynamic team as a Platform Engineer and play a pivotal role in building, securing, and scaling our cutting-edge AI engine for games. Collaborate with backend and ML engineers to plan, deploy, and maintain services across major cloud providers using Terraform, ArgoCD and other tooling. As part of our small, collaborative team, your contributions will significantly shape our operations and innovation.
    What you’ll do
    Work closely with backend and ML engineering teams to design, deploy, and maintain reliable, high-performance, and secure cloud infrastructure for our AI engine and Studio. Facilitate a "you build it, you run it" culture by providing the necessary tools and processes for monitoring the reliability, availability, and performance of services. Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code integration and deployment. Identify and implement opportunities to enhance engineering speed and efficiency.
