Job SummaryThe successful candidate will manage the sales activity for Mechanical Customers (Plumbing / HVAC / Industrial) in Ottawa-Gatineau-Kingston. This will include calling on IPEX distributors, mechanical / HVAC / industrial contractors, specifying engineers, developers, and inspectors ResponsibilitiesBecome a trusted advisor to all industry stakeholders by offering technical and overall market expertise.Develop long-term relationships with distributors, contractors, & engineers and secure their commitment to our products.Protect existing IPEX market as well as grow share by converting contractors & engineers from traditional metal piping systems to IPEX Mechanical Systems.Promote IPEX products at industry trade shows, distributor training sessions, engineering lunch & learns, and contractor installation trainings.Investigate and follow up on sales leads and potential new markets.Collaborate with and support IPEX sales colleagues to achieve Team objectives.Work closely with IPEX Customer Service, Innovation, Marketing, and Product Management.Track sales activity in CRM, provide monthly market reports, and contribute to forecasting & market share exercises.
