  • Senior Trial Attorney  

    - Greater Toronto Area

    Our client is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Litigator to join their dynamic team in Toronto (GTA). This role focuses heavily on trials and LAT (License Appeal Tribunal) hearings, providing strategic representation for the Firm’s personal injury clients. Step in to lead cases through litigation and hearings when other lawyers in the firm require trial or hearing support.
    The ideal candidate does not need to bring their own book of business, but must have a strong track record of success in trial advocacy and a deep understanding of personal injury law.
    Key Responsibilities: • Trial and LAT Hearing Advocacy: Lead trials, LAT hearings, and other high-stakes proceedings with minimal supervision. • Case Management: Take over complex files as required, ensuring cases are ready for trial or LAT hearings. • Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance and support to other lawyers and legal staff on trial preparation and hearing strategies. • Client Interaction: Manage client expectations and provide expert advice during the litigation process. • Strategic Negotiation: Engage in pre-trial or settlement negotiations when appropriate to achieve favourable outcomes.
    Qualifications & Experience: • 6+ years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a focus on trials and LAT hearings. • Demonstrated success in trial advocacy and handling complex files. • Advanced knowledge of personal injury law, primarily motor vehicle accidents, with some medical malpractice, slip and falls

    Leading projects and design teams. Working alongside the Chief Architect and the leadership group to drive projects forward. Collaborating with team members as part of an integrated project team, including execution, design, and reporting. Engaging through all project stages, from the definition, through planning, design, and construction, using your demonstrated abilities to recognize opportunities, understand client needs and manage and deliver projects. Providing Architectural design and contract administration related to a variety of commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects. Liaising with clients, engagement and leadership of the business, and client development activities. Participating in the preparation of proposals, reports, specifications, contract documents and budget estimates. Travelling between offices across Ontario and potentially across Canada to meet the needs of various projects and/or training purposes.
