We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the areas.We are currently looking for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician to join our Dawson Creek team.Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Troubleshooting and completing diagnostic repairs Completing the installation of new and added on equipmentCleaning, lubricating, and other maintenance workOrdering replacement equipment, parts, and suppliesMaintaining a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniquesTraveling to customer locations to complete equipment diagnostics and repairsRequired skills and education:Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician or a Journeyman Automotive Technician with experience working on heavy equipment. 3rd or 4th year apprentices are also encouraged to applyExperience working on bobcats, loaders, generators, man-lifts, etc.Knowledge of power, electrical, and hydraulic systemsClass 5 drivers’ licenceAbility to be flexible and to work well under pressureWorking Conditions:40 hours a week- ability to work overtime when requiredTravel to off-site locations may be requiredAbility to lift heavy objectsAbility to work both indoors and outdoorsRentco Equipment offers you:Competitive wagesComprehensive benefitsRRSP/DPSP programStable, year-round employment with great hours Employee discount and free rentalsPromote from within policyGreat team to work withPowered by JazzHRPI9595723c371c-26276-37995051
