  • Payroll Benefits Administrator  

    - Mississauga

    Kelly’s customer located in Mississauga, ON, is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis where you will be processing accurate payroll across Canadian provinces for union and non-unionized employees.
    RESPONSIBILITIES: Process timely and accurate payroll for salary and hourly staff on a weekly basis for union and non-unionized employees Process new hires, terminations, status change, pay rate changes and other employee data Respond to all payroll related inquiries internal and external Prepare payroll journal entries for all our companies Issue Records of Employment in a timely manner Monitor time off policies assignment and balances, and ensure balances are correct Company vacation accruals and vacation management • Process and monitor garnishment orders Employee benefits plan administration and reconciliation Union agreements administration and ensuring payroll is executed in accordance with the agreements Preparing pay increases as per the union agreements on a yearly basis Maintain and update payroll records on all platforms Create T4 slips, T2200’s, year-end, reconciliation, and distribution Maintain compliance with all government agencies in Canada (Federal & Provincial) Prepare month end journal entries, accruals Prepare and process year end activities Monthly WSIB filings Reconcile payroll GL accounts GL analysis on all payroll related accounts Prepare periodic payroll reports Other accounting/payroll related duties assigned by the manager
    REQUIREMENTS: University degree required in business-related field, PCP certificate is preferred A minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll Multi-province payroll experience, CCQ union experience is an asset UKG experience is preferred Working knowledge of ADP WFN software is beneficial Possess a strong proactive work ethic Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude Ability to work with confidential, sensitive information and maintain discretion Strong attention to detail, analytical and math skills

  • Senior Safety, Health & Environment Manager Salary: $130,000k per year Direct Reports: 1 Reports To: Site Manager Contract Type: Permanent Work Location: On-Site
    Overview: The Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manager manages and coordinates all safety, health, and environmental programs, processes, and activities to maintain a compliant and safe work environment. This role drives excellence in SHE across the site to achieve the best safety and sustainability results. The SHE Manager will develop the local strategy to ensure legal compliance and execute internal standards. Additionally, this role will implement programs to reduce safety incidents and environmental impact while providing guidance and support on SHE matters.
    Main Responsibilities & Scope: Design, maintain, and implement local safety and environmental management systems. Lead SHE incident management and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Conduct SHE meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and drive performance improvements. Provide employees, contractors, and visitors with guidance on health and safety regulations. Develop an Emergency Action Plan and act as the primary contact for site SHE incidents. Integrate occupational health and safety imperatives with business decision-making and risk management. Advise on engineering and maintenance practices to improve safe working systems. Drive a positive SHE culture through training, safety talks, and leadership engagement. Ensure compliance is regularly audited and performance assessments drive improvements. Monitor and measure SHE variables using a SHE scorecard.
    Education, Skills & Qualifications Master's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent industrial experience. Relevant qualifications required by local regulatory authorities. Project management skills. Internal auditor or ISO auditor qualification (preferred). Experience with Lean/TPM tools (preferred). Proficiency in English. Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or OSHSAS 18001 standards.
