The company buys and markets soybeans, dry beans, and inedible beans. The position is located near North Battleford, Saskatchewan. As the Grain Buyer , you will be responsible for procuring and managing purchasing contracts related to the procurement strategy. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work autonomously, and is a clear and concise communicator.     Oversee Food Safety, Health & Safety, and support Quality Control operations. Manage, update, and maintain the SQF System, food safety fundamentals, and plans to ensure compliance. Prepare for audits by conducting internal reviews and ensuring the readiness of the SQF System. Communicate updates and relevant system information to staff for effective implementation. Identify training needs, ensure staff competence in food safety, and lead the Food Safety and Sanitation teams. Conduct and participate in weekly, biweekly, and monthly management, HACCP, and product development meetings. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain certifications and ensure audit readiness.
