What You’ll Do Proactively seek out and secure new business opportunities with landscape architects, city planners, architects, parks & rec managers, and general contractors—you thrive on seeking out opportunities and don’t wait for leads to come to you.   • Bid & Proposal Specialist

KOMPAN Canada is looking for a Bid & Proposal Specialist to coordinate, manage, and deliver winning proposals and bid submissions across Ontario. Reporting to the Managing Director - Canada, you’ll collaborate closely with our Sales Consultants and the North America Bid & Proposal team to evaluate opportunities, gather key information, and deliver high-quality proposals. What You’ll Do Own and manage the full proposal and bid process by: Coordinating with Sales Consultants to gather key details and manage timelines for accurate, on-time submissions Collaborating with the North American Bid & Proposal team to ensure best practices across regions Customizing, editing, and assembling proposal documents using up-to-date templates and company content Organizing and maintaining a centralized library of project materials, case studies, credentials, and templates Tracking all bid submissions and outcomes, following up with Sales on results and lessons learned Support cross-functional info gathering and collaboration by: Acting as the point person to connect Sales, Project, and Technical teams for input and approvals Proactively troubleshooting gaps, chasing down needed details, and ensuring everything is submission-ready Stepping in for project coordination or data collection as needed Provide light support for marketing and communications by: Occasionally editing and optimizing proposal content for local social media posts, website updates, and win announcements Assisting with the collection of site photos and testimonials to strengthen proposals and marketing materials Leveraging digital tools (including generative AI like ChatGPT) to speed up editing, research, or basic content creation This is a hybrid position, working 3 days a week from our Kitchener office location.
