You will work closely with production, maintenance and technology teams to ensure the reliability, performance and continuous evolution of automation equipment and applications, while applying best practices in health, safety and the environment.You will be involved in a variety of projects, ranging from advanced troubleshooting to the improvement of existing systems, as well as the deployment of new automation solutions. This position requires a solid background in process control and industrial IT, with the ability to work in complex, multidisciplinary technical contexts.Main responsibilities:Provide technical support for automation equipment, industrial computing and associated control programs (development, updates, problem-solving).Participate in the design and implementation of solutions to improve equipment availability, reliability and operational efficiency.Establish and maintain a test environment to validate changes before deploying them in production.Document and maintain design standards for PLC and HMI application code.Carry out technical audits and performance analyses of control systems.Collaborate in the coordination of work and the start-up of new equipment or systems (commissioning).Ensure that systems comply with corporate policies, particularly in terms of IoT cybersecurity and machine safety.Support production and maintenance teams during breakdowns or unplanned shutdowns.Technical requirements :Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science - any combination of training and experience deemed equivalent will be considered.Experience in programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces (HMI) and SCADA systems.Knowledge of Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, GuardLogix), GE or Emerson environments (an asset).Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP).Knowledge of the Osisoft PI suite (SMT, Datalink, Vision) - an asset.Programming skills in VB.Net or SQL scripts.Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems in an industrial environment.Skills :Autonomy, sense of responsibility and excellent management of priorities.Ability to popularize technical concepts for a variety of audiences.Customer service orientation and collaborative spirit.Good stress management in a 24/7 production environment.Ability to work on-site and remotely as required.Please note that the masculine gender is used without discrimination and solely for the sake of brevity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
