  • Accounting & Reporting Manager (Larlyn Holdings) We’re seeking an experienced Accounting & Reporting Manager, to lead our accounting team into a new era of performance and impact. This role is not about holding a title—it's about transforming practices, building leader‑level professionals, and ensuring seamless operations for our growing client base.

    Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development

    Provide strong day‑to‑day leadership to the Accounting team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and consistent high performance.

    Set clear expectations, establish performance standards, and create a disciplined rhythm of coaching, feedback, and development.

    Support professional growth through structured training, cross‑training, and pathways toward accounting designations (CPA, CMA).

    Create a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and proactive problem‑solving within the team.

    Controls, Governance & Process Strengthening

    Build and maintain robust financial controls, including approval workflows, variance review processes, month‑end review steps, and documentation standards.

    Strengthen consistency across all portfolios by implementing standardized procedures, templates, and internal checklists.

    Optimize Yardi functionality by improving reconciliation processes, reporting accuracy, batch controls, and general ledger integrity.

    Continuously evaluate existing processes to reduce rework, tighten compliance, and improve efficiency across the accounting cycle.

    Collaboration With Property Managers & Administration Teams

    Partner with Property Managers to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions, strong budget discipline, and proper documentation for each property.

    Work closely with Administration and Operations teams to align workflows, improve information flow, and strengthen shared controls across department.

    Financial Reporting & Client Engagement

    Oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of financial statements across our clients.

    Present financial insights, variances, and recommendations during Board meetings and client discussions.

    Act as a key operational leader—ensuring accounting practices, timelines, and reporting expectations are consistently met across regions.

    Represent the Accounting function as a visible leader during audits, financial planning cycles, and client engagement activities.

    What We’re Looking For Required:

    CPA, CMA, CA (or equivalent) in good standing.

    5+ years in progressive leadership roles in property management accounting or commercial real estate finance.

    Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an accounting team, including setting expectations, providing coaching, and ensuring accountability.

    Hands‑on experience designing and enforcing financial controls (approval workflows, variance reviews, month‑end procedures) and improving workflow discipline.

    Strong capability to standardize procedures and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.

    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and maintain accurate financial records.

    Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information for Board members and clients.

    Strong background with property accounting software (preferably Yardi) and cloud‑based financial systems.

    Preferred:

    Experience handling complex portfolios.

    Prior exposure to automation, centralized workflows, or scale‑up environments.

    Passion for developing others—with real success stories in mentoring or team building.

    Experience building and managing KPIs, reconciliation trackers, or month‑end performance dashboards.

    Knowledge of advanced portfolio accounting requirements (reserve funds, capital projects, commercial recoveries, allocations, reconciliations).
