About the Role
We’re looking for a DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who is, first and foremost, a software developer . In this role, you’ll be a key product development team member—building and maintaining a high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud environment that powers our applications. Your mission is to create an exceptional developer experience by building robust infrastructure as code , enabling our engineers to move fast and confidently.
This is not a scripting role—we’re not looking for someone who hacks shell scripts and YAML files together. We need a real developer: someone who knows how to structure a Python project , write clean, maintainable code, and design infrastructure systems with the same rigor as application code.
You’ll thrive at Liquid Analytics with deep expertise in Linux networking , Kubernetes , and data wire protocols and a strong grasp of distributed data design patterns (streams, queues, hash tables, etc.). Solid SQL skills are essential—we work with high-performance analytics engines like DuckDB . We can train you in AWS if you’re strong in systems and networking, but software engineering excellence is non-negotiable.
About the Company Liquid Analytics builds high-performance decision analysis products. Our dynamic team thrives on challenges and builds software that delights customers. We are based in the Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada.
