    Overview

    As an Integration Engineer at LodgeLink, you will design, develop, and maintain integrations between LodgeLink’s platform and various third-party systems. Reporting to the Manager, Data & Integrations, you will collaborate with engineering, product management, and business teams to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability. Your work will enable smooth interactions between our platform, partners, and customers, ensuring efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of RESTful and gRPC APIs, strong documentation skills, and experience working with event-driven architectures and queue systems. Experience in API gateways and API management is essential. This is an in-office role, with flexibility to work from home one day a week. Responsibilities

    Build and maintain RESTful, GraphQL and gRPC API integrations for internal and third-party systems. Design and define integration requirements and architecture with engineering/product teams. Develop and manage integrations, API versions and automated workflows. Ensure security best practices with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and API gateways. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues for seamless system communication. Monitor and optimize integration performance with logging and tracing tools. Maintain API documentation using standards such as the OpenAPI Specification (OAS). Implement event-driven architectures with Azure Service Bus/Event Grid. Support containerized services in Azure Container Apps. Stay updated on industry trends to improve integration strategies. Key Competencies

    3+ years of experience in integration engineering with a focus on system-to-system integrations. Expertise in RESTful, GraphQL and/or gRPC APIs, including API lifecycle management. Experience with Azure and/or AWS, including serverless and containerized environments. Proficiency in event-driven patterns, and messaging queues e.g. Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, AWS Event Bridge Strong knowledge of OpenAPI Specification (OAS) for API documentation. Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as CRM, HR and ERP platforms (NetSuite experience is an asset). Proficiency in Go and/or Node.js for backend and integration services. Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and secure API communication. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data queries and transformations. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or CloudFormation for managing cloud-based solutions. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills across teams.     Responsibilities
