About This Team The architecture group at lululemon is responsible for guiding the design and implementation of technical strategies that support every aspect of our rapidly scaling global business. Take ownership of designs that span multiple capabilities. Evaluate, document, and escalate alterations to future state architectures. Communicates tradeoffs in different types of engineering and architecture processes and adjust your teams’ processes to meet the needs of the projects and others on the teams Contribute to the growth and strength of the architecture community of practice by actively attending & presenting at community events, and mentoring / coaching other architects within their expertise. Contribute, create, & maintain architecture patterns and practices within the responsible domain.
    Qualifications
    BS / BA in technology related discipline or relevant industry experience Minimum 8 years of real-world experience developing, deploying, scaling and maintaining software systems; a majority of this experience should come from working in and around cloud-based services. Relevant industry experience is preferred, with prior experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses. Deep hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, and database components in one of the major cloud platforms: Amazon AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure (preferred), GCP or Alibaba Cloud Able to design for specific security threat models and able to describe basic and advanced security and compliance aspects of cloud platform primitives. Be able to describe the key services of a given cloud platform and be able to select appropriately for given use cases, e.g., compute, storage, analytics, etc. Experience in technology vendor evaluation and scoring of new technologies Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing different integration patterns amongst cloud service providers (AWS / Azure), SaaS, & PaaS providers. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in working with containers/container orchestrators Deep hands-on experience in designing and implementing data analytics/data visualization solutions Experience working in Agile methodology
