About the Role As Email Marketing Specialist, you will own our email and SMS campaigns, focusing on optimizing engagement and customer retention. This hands-on role involves planning, executing, and refining lifecycle marketing strategies to drive performance across key channels.
You’ll develop customer segmentation strategies, experiment with new touchpoints, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance messaging and maximize customer lifetime value. Collaborating across the business, you’ll ensure cohesive, high-impact campaigns that align with business objectives.

What You'll Do Plan, execute, iterate and optimize our email and SMS campaigns across current channels - this is a hands-on role and includes campaign scheduling, setup, QA, and testing in Klaviyo. Test and expand into new lifecycle touchpoints and channels Deliver against performance targets for our email and SMS campaigns, channels, segments, etc and work to improve those KPIs month over month Support in building new customer segmentation & user journey strategies as well as launching new initiatives aligned with changing business needs Own our email/SMS calendar and creative briefing process for campaign materials Collaborate across marketing channels to leverage content, campaign themes, messaging, etc., for improved performance and cohesive efforts Launch regular A/B testing to continue optimizing core campaign metrics. Execute regular testing cadence for subject lines, preview text, imagery, content, layout, send times, segments, etc. Share regular insights with channel owners and key business stakeholders

Background 2-3 years experience managing retention marketing for an eCommerce brand. Proven success in customer engagement and retention tactics that increased customer LTV & lifecycle KPIs (reduced churn, increased order value and frequency) Hands-on experience in platform with ESP (Klaviyo, Braze) Strong analysis and analytical skills (experience in GA4 & Shopify) Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, data-driven environment Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or work-experience equivalent required
