We are hiring a Flexo Press 1st Assistant Operator at our Pickering location. This position ensures the printed product meets the quality expectations of our customers. This position requires attention to detail watching for quality issues from print balance, die-cutting accuracy, foil laydown, colour management and registration. Key Responsibilities • Support the Press Operator in the setup, operation, and monitoring of the Primographic press to ensure safe, efficient production and consistent print quality • Review job specifications and assist with preparing the press for each production run • Install and remove print cylinders, anilox rollers, sleeves, and other press components as required • Monitor print quality during production and report any issues to the Press Operator for adjustment • Assist with troubleshooting press issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules • Assist with loading and preparing large paperboard rolls on the roll stand • Support roll changes and splice preparation during production runs • Ensure roll identification and load tags are issued and tracked correctly • Stage required materials, inks, and supplies for upcoming jobs • Assist with press changeovers between jobs to ensure efficient transitions • Remove, clean, and prepare print cylinders and press components • Clean ink fountains, anilox rollers, ink trays, and replace blades and wipes as required • Prepare the press and materials for the next production run • Support quality checks to ensure printed board meets job specifications and customer requirements • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe press area • Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines Qualifications • Previous experience working on a printing press in a manufacturing environment preferred • Experience with Primographic or wide-web flexographic presses considered an asset • Strong willingness to learn new procedures and equipment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability • Detailed eye for colour • Ability to lift materials and work on your feet for extended periods Max Solutions Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer who is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Responsibilities:
Lead regional supply chain efforts to exceed customer service targets, reduce complexity, and enable profitable business growth.
Report, analyze & improve performance of supply chain KPIs.
Hire, train and develop employees for long term career growth & deliver increasing customer value.
Plan
Support supply planning, master scheduling and S&OP practices.
Organize and lead quarterly inventory cycle counts. Identify & address causes of inaccuracy.
Ensure inventory accuracy exceeds 98% at the location level.
Leverage supply chain capability to foster profitable business growth.
Source/Procure
Identify & develop effective supplier relationships to meet all customer and business expectations.
Lead assigned categories across the region for overall regional results. Coordinate with US counterparts to share best practices & increase leverage.
Provide mentorship/coaching to other category owners on the team.
Realize total cost improvements & sustainability goals.
Ensure supply-side master data is effectively controlled & managed including supplier setup, cost information & supplier performance data.
Manage all supply-side certifications (e.g. FSC chain-of-custody) for results & audit compliance
Deliver
Manage regional warehousing network and shipping carriers with full visibility of all products.
Lead company wide TMS system implementation & pursue regional transportation opportunities.
Meet all OTIF, cost and performance metrics associated with product delivery.

Manage all waste streams to maximize revenue & realize sustainability goals.
Skills and Experience:
College degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
Previous experience as a supply chain manager in a manufacturing environment. Preferable experience with folding cartons or other FMCG packaging.
Demonstrated track record of leadership exemplifying composure, collaboration and teamwork that celebrates business successes.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills.
