The Business Analyst will work closely with business, product, and technology partners to help shape and deliver a transformative new platform, using strategic insights to inform the product roadmap and drive meaningful outcomes for our patients.\nThis position is vital for executing high-quality and innovative patient services that align with the Specialty Health business strategy. Responsibilities include supporting large-scale digital transformation related to patient support programs, specialty pharmacy, data migration strategy, planning, organizing, and overseeing activities related to current and future applications.\nThe role will involve collaborating closely with McKesson Technology and other key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of product roadmaps.\nThe ideal candidate for this role must be:\n\n A strategic and analytical thinker who can translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.\n Experienced in digital transformation, preferably within specialty healthcare or biopharma environments.\n Experience with Salesforce platform, supporting digital product launches and system migrations.\n Proficient in business analysis, scrum, and agile methodologies, with a solid grasp of product development lifecycles.\n Skilled at cross-functional collaboration with product, business, and technology teams to drive alignment and execution.\n An effective communicator and detail-oriented professional, capable of navigating fast-paced, regulated environments.\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Serve as a domain expert and advocate for both customers and internal stakeholders, supporting the product team in delivering superior digital experiences, particularly in patient support programs.\n Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and Technology teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.\n Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and alignment with strategic goals.\n Support the product backlog by refining and prioritizing features based on business value, stakeholder input, and customer behavior insights; ensure development teams remain unblocked.\n Lead and participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\n Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments for proposed changes or new features and assist in defining and tracking KPIs to measure product success.\n Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions throughout the product lifecycle and validate that developed features meet business requirements.\n Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure traceability of requirements; contribute to change management and training efforts to support adoption of new solutions.\n Use qualitative and quantitative analysis to support product decisions and ensure compliance with privacy regulations and internal policies.\n Promote continuous improvement in operational processes and actively support a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environment in line with the “LeadRx” culture.\n\nSkills and Competencies\n\n Demonstrated success in defining and building digital products, including creating and launching new offerings within the Canadian Biopharma/healthcare industry (experience specifically within the overall context of patient support programs preferred).\n Demonstrated proficiency in effectively promoting and persuading the adoption of concepts and ideas within the leadership of a large complex organization with multiple decision-makers and business units.\n Business acumen, including a deep understanding of the economics of digital product development.\n Experience in design thinking principles and customer experience design.\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate concepts to technical and non-technical audiences at various hierarchical levels.\n Strong interpersonal skills, building relationships and collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups.\n\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor's degree.\n Business analysis-related certification is preferred\n 3+ years of direct experience in business analysis required.\n 5+ years of experience in the technology-related fields and industry is preferred.\n Biopharma industry, is preferred. This role supports patients throughout their treatment journey by conducting pre‑treatment assessments, safely administering therapies, monitoring adverse reactions, and providing patient education to promote independence and treatment adherence.\n\nUsing sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and therapeutic communication, the Infusion Nurse collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary partners to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with provincial nursing standards, Health Canada guidelines, and organizational policies.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\n \n Conduct pre‑treatment patient assessments, including review of contraindications, medical history, and eligibility for therapy.\n \n Initiate and manage peripheral IV access and access central lines using sterile technique and best practices.\n \n Prepare, handle, and administer IV and injectable specialty medications in accordance with manufacturer, Health Canada, and nursing college standards.\n \n Monitor patients during and post‑infusion, identifying and responding to adverse events per medical directives.\n \n Document all patient care activities accurately within electronic patient records and clinical systems.\n \n Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, side effects, and self‑administration when applicable.\n \n Maintain medication accountability and participate in audits, quality initiatives, and clinic compliance activities.\n \n Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and clinic staff to support coordinated patient care.\n \n Uphold infection prevention, safety, and quality standards at all times.\n \n Participate in onboarding, training, and mentoring of new clinic staff as required.\n\n\nBasic Requirements:\n\n \n Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration and good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).\n \n Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n \n Minimum 2+ years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in infusion, ambulatory care, or specialty clinical settings.\n \n Infusion certification or demonstrated hands‑on IV infusion experience.\n \n Current CPR certification.\n\n\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\n\n \n Experience administering biologics, oncology, or specialty pharmaceutical therapies.\n \n ACLS certification.\n \n Experience managing infusion‑related adverse events.\n \n Comfort working independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment.\n \n Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making, and patient education skills.\n \n Experience using electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.\n \n Ability to work across multiple clinic locations within a defined region.\n\n\nTravel, Work Environment & Physical Requirements:\n\n \n Ability to work onsite in a clinic environment.\n \n May require travel to multiple clinic locations within the region.\n \n Prolonged standing, walking, and manual dexterity required for IV insertion and medication administration.\n \n Ability to lift and move clinical supplies and equipment as needed.\n\n\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
