  • Our client, a designer/manufacturer and global integrator of welding and assembly systems and material handling systems, is searching for a Senior Robot Programmer to join their Automation & Assembly team!     Design and Deployment: Create scalable, highly available database architectures on cloud platforms.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reporting to the Plant Manager you will provide leadership for all production personnel on all shifts; monitor the progress of all manufacturing departments to ensure quality, safety and volume targets are met

    Ensuring the operating team's goals are aligned with, and representative of the overall plant’s directive

    Act as liaison between team members and the rest of the organization (Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, Human Resources, and other operational leaders)

    Utilize World Class Manufacturing, 5S and Lean principles to drive quality, safety, productivity and reduce waste

    Exterior mirrors and system design, development, and engineering release

    Development of vehicle level functional objectives and work to establish and achieve the corresponding component level functional objectives

    Responsible for the component/system from initial concept, packaging, hardware development, kinematic/compliance modeling, virtual analysis, and physical validation, through component and vehicle launch

    Overseeing: component design, FMEA, analysis (CAE/CFD), vehicle packaging (NX), model/drawing integrity (Teamcenter), development, component validation (DVP&R), change management (CCD/WebCN), engineering bill of material (EBOM), build support, issue management, joint design, root cause analysis, solution development, and in-person support for associated testing, issue root cause, plant support, etc.

    Directly involved with supplier design efforts and design reviews to ensure the supplier design meets expectations as listed in Stellantis specification

    Ensure systems comply with quality, performance, timing, weight, and cost objectives

    Collaborate with advanced team to develop, define, and package system designs prior to sourcing

    Serve as regional on-site Mechatronics component support

    Develop and maintain core boundary diagrams, interface matrices, parameter diagrams, Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), and Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R)

    Support system integration and proper function with surrounding components, network communications, and Electronic Control Units (ECUs)

    Perform benchmarking, competitive analysis, and investigations on new technology

    Support quality and warranty initiatives with problem solving, technical specifications, and evaluations

    Ensure part variation and failure modes are addressed in an expedited way to improve customer satisfaction
