    Description:

    RIG Team. We are a team of 18 designers and developers, organized into 2 squads: one for web components and one for mobile native components. The team that this role will be embedded in is the mobile native squad, where we do not have RIG developers. As such, the candidate will need excellent collaboration and organizational skills to collaborate with developers and designers across our client team, the Mobile Banking team (not RIG), to design and coordinate the development of the mobile native components. Within the RIG Mobile team, we’re a small, tight-knit group of 4 designers and a design manager. We collaborate closely with our client teams on Mobile Banking to ensure the right components are designed and developed. We also collaborate closely with the RIG Web team in order to ensure that the overall RIG design system is coherent.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with client teammates on Mobile Banking to determine whether components are needed

    If components are needed, collaborate and co-create the requirements, design and construct the component, create the documentation, test the component and documentation for usability with client teammates

    Create workshops and user feedback sessions to collaborate with client teammates and RIG teammates

    Collaborate with the RIG content designer to publish release notes once a month

    Support teammates with design reviews and critiques

    Stay up to date on design systems best practices and tooling

    Stay up to date on design best practices

    Build relationships with teammates on both the design and development sides within RIG and within client teams

    Manage your own project scope and timelines

    Participate in and contribute to the day-to-day activities of the team
