    Our client, a highly respected mid-sized law firm in Toronto , is seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join their growing team. While this role is focused on residential real estate , it is a unique opportunity to specialize in a niche area , offering exposure to complex and specialized transactions beyond standard residential closings. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end residential real estate transactions in a specialized area, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct title and off-title searches , review legal descriptions, and identify potential issues such as encumbrances, easements, and municipal compliance matters. Prepare and register documents using Teraview, Conveyancer, and Unity , including transfers, charges, discharges, and Notices of Security Interest (NOSIs). Draft, review, and process agreements of purchase and sale, mortgage documents, trust letters, and undertakings . Handle complex title rectifications , including title fraud matters, title insurance claims, and irregularities requiring corrective documentation. Prepare closing documents, including direction re: title, statements of adjustments, trust ledgers, and reporting letters . Communicate with lenders, municipalities, title insurance companies, surveyors, and clients to coordinate transaction details and resolve any issues. Assist with post-closing matters such as title transfers, mortgage payouts, discharge registrations, and final reporting . Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with LSO guidelines and regulatory requirements . Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk, with a strong background in residential transactions. Proficiency in Teraview, Conveyancer, Unity, and Microsoft Office . Strong understanding of real property law, land titles system, and registration processes . Experience with title rectifications, complex property ownership structures, and regulatory compliance is an asset. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Personal Injury Lawyer Position Overview : Our client, a well-established mid-sized law firm in Ottawa, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join their growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience handling personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, occupiers’ liability, and other insurance-related disputes. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases, advocate for clients at all stages of litigation, and collaborate with a dynamic legal team. Key Responsibilities : Case Management : Handle personal injury files from intake to resolution, including conducting client meetings, assessing claims, and developing case strategies.
