Responsibilities
Prepare insurance proposals, modelling and other insurance-related documents for clients
Prepare, refine and deliver presentations and technical material
Gaining in-depth experience in life insurance sales, client needs analysis, and policy solutions
Partner with our Life Insurance Team to provide guidance on insurance planning concepts
Discussion and creation of concepts, strategies, product application relating to insurance and estate planning
Provide solutions that help families and businesses retain and transfer wealth
Identify potential concerns/issues and assist Advisors with solutions
Respond to client calls and answer queries relating to strategies
Perform other related duties and special projects, as required
Candidate Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the life insurance or wealth management industry
An Accounting or legal designation (e.g. CPA, CA, LL.B, JD, etc.) is required
TEP and CFP designations are an asset
Basic knowledge of life insurance terminology and products
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent organizational and effective time management skills
Critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently while being committed to functioning as a team player
Professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
