Responsibilities:Analysis and design of structures, including concrete, steel and composite structuresPrepare and review technical and building specifications, design criteria for civil structural engineering projectsPrepare and review engineering calculations, and design reportsProvide structural specifications for cranes, lifting devices and be familiar with their designsDevelop and review technical specifications for concrete material and testing requirementsAging management and FMEA according to Canadian standards requirementsWorking with the following codes preferred: AISC N690, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ASCE 7, IBC, and, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
Qualifications:Nuclear experience is highly preferredP. Eng. is mandatoryComputer programing skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is preferredAutodesk Revit experience is an asset
