About the Role We are looking for a hands‑on, people‑focused Production Supervisor to lead and support daily operations in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee production schedules, ensure quality standards, provide leadership to employees, and help improve our processes through Lean principles. You will play a key role in keeping our plant running safely, efficiently, and profitably. What You’ll Do Production Leadership & Coordination Oversee daily production activities to ensure parts are made on time and meet quality standards. Plan labour needs based on schedules, sales orders, and delivery requirements. Monitor workforce attendance, punctuality, and productivity. Maintain strong employee relations, motivation, and team performance. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure all work instructions, procedures, and ISO quality standards are followed. Conduct annual internal audits and support corrective actions (CAPARs). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; enforce PPE and safety rules. Support the RTW (Return‑to‑Work) program and identify suitable modified duties. Continuous Improvement & Lean Apply Lean principles to improve workflow, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with new layouts, methods, and procedures. Communicate changes clearly to the team and support documentation updates. Maintenance & Material Control Schedule and monitor routine equipment and plant maintenance. Control use of materials, tools, and supplies to reduce waste, scrap, and rework. Ensure plant openings, closings, and lock‑up procedures are followed. Reporting, Planning & Communication Track labour hours, material usage, and production performance. Support planning departments with labour estimates, production hours, and cost information. Assist leadership during budget planning and discussions on equipment, staffing, and process improvements. Provide relevant labour‑related information for HR and union matters. What We’re Looking For Required Education: High school diploma or GED. Required Experience: 8+ years of supervisory or related manufacturing experience , preferably in a production environment. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices. Ability to manage schedules, labour planning, and daily operations. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, or process optimization is an asset.   • Labour and Employee Relations Specialist

Further information is available at Overview POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Labour and Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in promoting positive labour and employee relations as well as providing advice, guidance and counselling on labour and employee relations matters to all NFI Group Business Units in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Responsibility includes establishing and maintain positive relationships with all key internal stakeholders as well as union representatives. This position will report directly to the Director of Labour and Employee Relations. Responsibilities Provide advice, guidance, and support on a wide range of labour and employee relations matters for all NFI Group Business Units. Play an active role in the collective bargaining process, including preparing mandates, drafting proposals, developing strategies, and serving on negotiation teams. Partner with management teams to review collective agreement changes and deliver training to ensure understanding and alignment. Track and assess grievance activity, offering recommendations and support when matters move forward to arbitration. Collaborate with external legal counsel on arbitration and other labour-related litigation. Advise on disciplinary matters, including suspensions and terminations, for both unionized and non-unionized employees. Provide expertise on the administration and interpretation of collective agreements. Build and maintain constructive, positive relationships with union representatives. Design and deliver engaging training programs to strengthen labour and employee relations capabilities across the organization. Qualifications Post-secondary education with a direct focus in Labour Relations, Human Resources and/or Business Administration. 1 – 3 years of HR unionized experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to work with unionized workforces, including interpreting collective agreements, handling grievances, and supporting labour relations. Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment laws and HR best practices. Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making in dynamic environments. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
