You’ll ensure our systems are highly available, scalable, and secure to support our customers’ mission‑critical supply chain operations. You’ll lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers, collaborate with Product Development teams, and continuously improve how we build, deploy, and operate our applications.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure high availability of Kubernetes‑based platforms; lead incident response and disaster recovery readinessDefine and execute the roadmap for scalability, performance, and cost optimization across all infrastructure layersImprove our DR architecture and orchestrate regular DR drillsProvide recommendations for cost reduction (in AWS) and identify and address scalability issues with the platform as a wholeRecommend security enhancements for triage/ risk assessmentOversee CI/CD pipelines, build environments, and monitoring systems to maximize developer productivity and deployment qualityMaintain and improve the structure of all of Nulogy’s infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm)Propose projects that provide value and improve infrastructure and practicesParticipate in team on‑call rotationWrite and maintain documentation such as reference, how‑to guides, architectural decision records, and tutorialsFoster a culture of reliability engineering, automation, and continuous improvement across Infrastructure and Development teamsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExpert level proficiency in AWS (particularly EKS, RDS, S3, Kafka, GuardDuty, in addition to general service‑agnostic principles)Expertise in Kubernetes support and maintenance, both the cluster/infrastructure itself and all manner of work to assure optimum pod healthExpertise in tactics to sustain optimal performance of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQLDeveloper tooling (shell scripting, optimizing local developer environments, etc.)Aptitude for working in a mission‑critical computing space (i.e., being methodical, data driven and detail‑oriented)Expertise in security best practices (e.g., OWASP, etc.)Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines (currently Buildkite)Expertise in working with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), including best practices and configuration maintenanceExperience in audited environments such as SOC2, ISO27001, etc.Education & ExperienceA degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred, but we will also consider candidates that meet the experience requirements listed above.Diversity StatementNulogy embraces diversity, and we recognize the need for teams that represent a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
