    QUALIFICATIONS: Possess and maintain a valid driver's license appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven. Previous experience operating above-mentioned equipment in a road building, mining, and/or industrial setting. Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life. Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades). Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions. Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness. Experience with radio communications and protocols.

    Pre-access requirements may include: Medical clearances A&D Testing Criminal Record Check RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises crews and coordinates the activities of the workers in surface and underground mining projects. Lead and support a team of heavy-duty mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and uptime of heavy mobile equipment critical to mine operations. Works within the contract presented to the client. Mentor apprentices and support employee development and training. Conducts weekly safety meetings and provides a safe work environment. Daily documentation and correspondence between client and company on performance of crew and equipment as described in the applicable contract. Ensure QAQC forms and red-line drawing packages are being completed properly and submitted in a timely manner. Ensure work orders are being filled out properly with quality information. Must follow standard safety operating procedures. The ability to work with OEM representatives. Coordinate with operations, planning, and parts departments to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production needs. Prioritize and schedule repairs in collaboration with operations and site supervisors. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and mine site policies. Conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, and job hazard assessments. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency. Demonstrate commitment to the continued improvement of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment. Keep maintenance reports and documentation Incorporate HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades).
    Job Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS: Post Secondary in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician. Minimum 2 plus years in supervisory or lead role and previous experience working on larger industrial heavy equipment used in the mining and earthworks industry; (Earthworks, Civil construction, and Mining); Strong computer skills. MS Suite and proficiency in maintenance diagnostic software programs. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills in hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and undercarriage components. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and interpret diagnostic codes. Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License. Eligible to work and reside in Canada.
