Responsible to organize all rental equipment for OTG construction sites. Liaise with production and provide equipment rental to their sites. Operations: Get daily requests from Site Managers. Proactively identify Site Managers' needs and provide the best equipment for the job requested. Liaise with rental companies to deliver the equipment in the best time for the work site. Manage all deliveries with the lifting department and transportation as required. Contact the mechanical team to get the first assessment of any breakdown, then contact the rental company for service or equipment replacement if necessary. Get informed about site movement of the equipment to update the equipment location database. Manage all running hours, inform management & propose optimization to avoid equipment standby. Send back equipment if it is not required on site. Ensure equipment is ready to be sent back, location accessible to pick up equipment, fuel tank is full, equipment is in good condition and perfectly clean. Keep pictures before, during mobilization, transfer between sites, and demobilization. Log all movements and pictures into a dedicated file. Coordinate with the finance and cost control department to have all costs captured in the correct place. Coordinate with finance for invoice processing. Reporting: Reports to Fleet Manager. Issue monthly plant assessment for Cost Control & invoices purposes. Issue monthly hour meters analysis to improve equipment fleet. Issue amount spent per supplier.   • Job Description The Senior MEP Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that inspection and testing of construction work and material related to quality control and quality assurance for the MEP scope of the Ontario Line South Project is performed in compliance with the project requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with the MEP Team and the relevant subcontractors for all aspects relating to quality control and quality assurance. Verify and confirm that the work at site is being progressed as per reviewed Issued for Construction drawings, shop drawings, Work method statements, Construction Quality Management Plan (CQMP) and respective Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Ensure line items in the ITPs are signed off in real time basis and ensure all supporting documents are made available as soon as a line activity completed. Ensure ITPs are documented and closed as soon as activities in the ITPs are complete. Coordinate with Document Control team to upload completed ITPs. Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for any work or material that fails to satisfy project requirements. Liaise with the relevant teams to provide proposed action to rectify the identified NCRs and follow up to close NCRs within the stipulated timeline. Coordinate with third party testing companies to schedule inspection and testing activities of construction materials. Ensure all materials brought to the site are complying with the project requirements. Attend site specific meetings. Feedback and communicate on internal and external alerts or good practices relating to Quality, to implement quality culture on the project. Closely monitor erection of big equipment on site, Tower Cranes, Crawler cranes, Overhead cranes, etc. Review all lifting plans, and ensure lifting plans are strictly followed on site. Participate in tracking and logging of all Ontario Transit Group lifting devices. Ensure the smooth operation of lifting and logistic team, which means proper planification of operators leave, shifts, back-up in case of sickness, etc. Coordinate activities with site Engineers.
