  • Field Cellular Engineer (5GNR/LTE)

    Field Cellular Engineer (5GNR/LTE)Responsibilities:· Conduct field testing and validation of cellular modems and smartphones on live 4G LTE and 5G networks.· Travel to various local and non-local outdoor test sites, often with short notice.· Execute test plans and operate automation tools to collect network performance data.· Perform real-time analysis of cellular baseband logs for on-field debugging and issue identification.· Troubleshoot common technical setup issues during field testing campaigns.· Use independent judgment to assess testing conditions, validate data, and determine next steps without constant supervision.· Clearly communicate technical issues and report data findings with detail and accuracy.Requirements:· 1-5 years of hands-on cellular testing experience.· Strong understanding of 5GNR and LTE protocol stacks.· Practical experience with cellular baseband log analysis is required.· Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem identification.· Ability to adapt quickly, learn on the job, and work independently.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Must be comfortable with a schedule of approximately 4-5 days in the field· You must be able to work outdoors and handle the physical requirements of transporting and setting up equipment.· Experience with GNSS/GPS in a plus.Location: Vancouver, Canada (onsite)Pay Range: $35/hr - $45/hr CAD (DOE)
