Key Responsibilities Develop a compelling product strategy and roadmap for PagerDuty's AI assistant, AI agent platform, and (workflow and runbook) automation offerings. Allocate resources strategically between innovation and sustaining existing products to optimize business outcomes. Develop and evangelize our internal AI agent platform to empower product and professional services teams to build agents on our data and integrate them into our interfaces and workflows. Empower PagerDuty product and professional services teams to build, deploy, and continuously improve generative AI features and agents by evolving our data and agent platforms. Expand our AI ecosystem through partnerships and integrations across communications platforms, cloud storage, and infrastructure, embracing emerging standards like MCP and A2A. Set and achieve product engagement targets as a leading indicator of success in our transition to usage-based packaging and pricing models. Drive product decisions with a strong focus on customer value measured through product engagement and feedback, and financial impact measured by win rates, retention, and ARR. Foster a high-performing, product management team with diversity of experience and perspectives through coaching, empowerment, and accountability. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Product-led Growth, Enterprise GTM, Pricing, and Finance to maximize your products' market and business impact. Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, media and industry analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, representing PagerDuty as a thought leader. Basic Qualifications Minimum 12 years in product management, with significant experience in SaaS, AI, and/or automation. Understanding of workflow platforms (triggers, variables, conditions, and actions) and no code, low code, and procode authoring modalities. Experience with and deep interest in building experiences powered by generative and agentic AI. Strong technical acumen and experience leading and developing high-performing product management teams. Proven track record of taking products from concept to market success in a startup or agile innovation environment with a rapid experimentation mindset. Self-motivated user of AI tools for personal productivity and the craft of product with a bias towards scaling team output with technology rather than adding headcount. Preferred Qualifications Experience building and delivering business results from AI/ML, observability, or incident management products. Experience scaling product ecosystems through technical integration, commercial partnerships, and go to market programs. MBA degree is beneficial, but not required. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to executives, customers, and industry analysts. The base salary range for this position is 178,000 - 270,000 CAD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.     PagerDuty is looking for a Director of Product Management, AIOps, to lead the charge in building the industry's best event orchestration and automation platform. Our mission: reimagine how applications can operate reliably and autonomously at scale. Events flow into PagerDuty from production systems, developer tooling, and customer service platforms enabling autonomous event intelligence. Using machine learning and event-driven automation, AIOps will automatically detect, triage, and diagnose anomalies and mobilize specialized agents to remediate and SREs and developers only when they need assistance.
    In this high-impact role, you'll own the vision, roadmap and delivery of our rapidly evolving AIOps product-developing the next generation of intelligent event management and a seamless integration ecosystem.     Key Responsibilities Develop unique, market-leading AIOps capabilities that leverage PagerDuty's enriched event streams from a robust and growing set of integrations. Ensure AIOps integrates seamlessly with AI & Automation and Incident Management to drive customer outcomes. Drive the strategy for expanding the ecosystem of integrations, ensuring seamless ingestion, enrichment, and actionability of signals from a diverse set of sources. Drive product decisions balancing customer value (measured through product engagement and customer feedback) with financial impact (measured by win rates, retention and ARR). Lead and grow a world-class team of Product Managers, with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, developing talent through both formal training and hands-on experience. Guide the cultural transformation to usage-based pricing by setting product engagement targets to measure product success and iterating on packaging and pricing models. Maintain a balanced roadmap that optimizes for functional, architectural, interoperability, customer value, and revenue goals and ensures effective allocation of resources. Clearly articulate the vision and product plans and drive alignment between product development, go-to-market teams, executives, and the rest of the company. Partner closely with solutions consulting, product marketing and sales enablement to ensure effective training and messaging about features and their value is delivered at scale. Drive the success of the product in terms of customer satisfaction and business results while monitoring the market for shifts in customer needs, technology, and competitive dynamics. Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, media and industry analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, representing PagerDuty as a thought leader. Basic Qualifications Minimum of 10 years in product management, with a proven track record of success in the software industry. Experience applying data science and AI to deliver intelligent applications. Understanding of monitoring and observability, or event intelligence products and markets, including customer needs, key trends, and the competitive landscape. Industry experience with DevOps engineers, SREs, platform engineers and ITOps teams. Proven ability to build and scale product ecosystems and integrations with internal platforms and 3rd party systems, Self-motivated user of AI tools for personal productivity and the craft of product, a bias towards amplifying team output with AI over adding headcount to scale. Experience managing teams of product managers: hiring for intelligence, curiosity, and collaboration and focusing on coaching, empowerment, and accountability. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Directly applicable experience building enterprise AIOps or observability products. Startup or innovation experience, familiarity with agile processes, and a demonstrated "fail fast" mentality to move quickly from concept to MVP to customer validation.
