    Job Description We’re seeking a detail‑oriented, patient‑centred Periodontist to join Dundurn Dental Specialty, our new specialty and advanced therapy clinic in Hamilton, Ontario, and a proud part of Passion Dental Group. This role will support advanced periodontal and implant services within a collaborative, specialist‑led environment. Specifics about the role: As a newly launched specialty clinic, most roles will begin on a part‑time basis during regular business hours. As patient demand and services expand, there is strong opportunity for additional shifts and potential transition to full‑time. We’re looking for specialists who are excited to grow alongside the clinic and become a long‑term, trusted presence within both our team and the broader community. About the Clinic: Dundurn Dental Specialty is a purpose‑built, multidisciplinary centre offering centralized diagnostics, advanced surgical suites, and a strong referral network. The clinic is designed to support complex periodontal and implant‑based care.     VP, Regional Operations Leader Looking for a high-impact Senior Dental Operator to take ownership of a growing set of General Practice (GP) and Specialty dental practices with a very unique model. This is not a desk job; we need a "fixer" and a "builder" who can walk into a clinic, diagnose operational bottlenecks, and implement changes necessary to build practice capability to deliver strong growth in patients under care and profitability.

    The Mission Your goal is to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and business performance. You will oversee a diverse portfolio, ensuring our GP offices and Specialty practices (Endo, Oral Surgery, Ortho, etc.) are synchronized, efficient, and exceeding growth targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Oversight:

    Full P&L responsibility for the region, including budget forecasting, labor cost management, and EBITDA growth.

    Growth Strategy:

    Develop and execute regional playbooks to increase new patient counts and improve case acceptance rates.

    Performance Turnarounds:

    Conduct deep-dive audits of underperforming clinics to identify issues in scheduling, staffing, billing, and patient flow.

    GP & Specialty Synergy:

    Optimize internal process and conversions of GP patients needing specialty care and limit out-migration of care.

    In-Clinic Mentorship:

    Recruit, develop and work side-by-side with Regional Managers and Office Managers. Coach them on leadership, P&L management, and practice growth.

    Clinical Partnership:

    Partner with clinical leaders in practices and enterprise to attract and retain top-notch clinical talent and help them improve utilization and productivity.

    Standardization:

    Implement unified SOPs across the region while respecting the unique clinical cultures of individual practices.

    Who You Are

    Dental Operator:

    8-10 years of multi-site dental management experience in a multi-specialty or specialty only setting.

    Problem Solver:

    Experience in identifying problems and building solutions. Ability to lead from the center and be on-site solving practice specific problems.

    Communicator:

    Speak business to executives and clinical to doctors, earning the respect of both.

    Data-Driven:

    Utilizes KPIs effectively to guide and communicate effectively to build the regional practices. KPIs cover production, collection, AR, morning huddle metrics.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Management, or related field (MBA/MHA a plus but not required).

    Experience:

    Proven track record of scaling dental groups or managing a region of 15+ locations.

    Technical Proficiency:

    Proficiency in dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.).

    Travel:

    Ability to travel multiple days a week within the region to provide hands-on support.
