Purpose of the role: The Media Buyer Audio & Video will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and executing media buys for TV, Radio, and Connected TV (CTV) campaigns for assigned clients. The role includes mentoring support staff, and working closely with internal teams such as Media Planning. In addition, this role is responsible for implementing and interpreting analytics, measurement, and tracking of campaigns. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in Broadcast media & experience/exposure with digital media channels. The Role & Expectations Reporting Contribute to the development of reporting and insight generation to help drive results, communicating directly to client and client team. Conduct accurate data processing, analysis, interpreting results and making actionable recommendations. Responsible for managing client specific reporting for the purpose of quality control and budget management. Communication & Collaboration: Participate in developing the analytics and broadcast capabilities within the agency and with existing clients. Regular interaction with department team members. Liaise with internal PHD departments (e.g. Traffic, Accounting, and Portfolio Management) as well as PHD vendors. Keeping apprised of the media landscape changes and analyzing and sharing thoughtful recommendations with internal stakeholders and clients alike Comfortable with presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients Assist in the training and development of junior staff, including proofreading all communication, data entry and documents to ensure accuracy and quality. Accountability: Work with broadcast & digital leads, data leads and strategic leads to ensure PHD’s quality standards are adhered to across the board. Identify and develop tactical opportunities that meet client and corporate objectives through actionable insights derived from analytics. A strong understanding of corporate agreements, preferred discounting, and procurement-related objectives Apply various quantitative methods to analyse and interpret information from multiple data sources while providing a layer of strategic thinking and insight generation. Financial Management: Work closely with the Media Coordinator to solve invoice discrepancies. Manage broadcast and digital reporting to flag any potential issues with budget, variances versus contracts.     Purpose of the role: The Assistant Media Buyer, Audio & Video will be primarily responsible for providing administrative assistance in the management of TV, Radio, and Connected TV campaigns for assigned clients.
    The Role & Expectations
    Administrative Support: I nputting - using various platforms for both Connected TV and Broadcast contracts. Trafficking - trafficking creatives for Connected TV and Broadcast campaigns, maintaining quality of buys for both disciplines.
