    Job Summary:
    Our client in Brantford is currently seeking a Tooling Engineer or Designer to join their team! The candidate, with experience in a Forging environment, will be responsible for forge tooling development and tool prove-outs on the plant floor. This is a hands-on position supporting new tooling builds along with improving mature tool designs.
    Responsibilities:
    Provide technical tooling support for plant floor processes and equipment, ex. hot forging (hammers, upsetters, benders, presses), machining, welding, and assembly fixtures Champion new tooling designs, builds, prove outs with emphasis on hot forging (hammers & upsetters) Support external and internal toolroom activities related to tooling builds and modifications Maintain proper documentation during the execution of projects to support ISO requirements Participate in the research and development of new tools, or modification of existing tooling to improve the manufacturing process Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
