  • Warehouse Manager

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will manage warehouse staff, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met in a safe and efficient manner, compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), government regulations, and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain efficient receiving, sampling/issuing, warehousing, distribution, and shipping operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational procedures and company policies. Schedule and assign weekly tasks to warehouse employees, ensuring follow-up on work results. Motivate, organize, and foster teamwork within the warehouse department to meet or exceed productivity targets. Conduct daily briefings with team members to communicate goals and updates. Manage warehouse staff, addressing personnel issues including recruitment, training, discipline, and performance management. Develop and deliver training programs for new warehouse technicians during orientation. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts, ensuring accuracy, reconciling discrepancies in SAP, and investigating any inconsistencies. Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role. Strong understanding of cGMP and government regulations related to warehouse operations. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficient in inventory management systems, preferably SAP. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Why Join Us?   • Process Safety Chemist

    JOB OVERVIEW: Integration of safety into the scale up and manufacture of chemical processes by evaluating and consulting on thermal, chemical and reactive hazards. REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reporting to: Senior Manager, Research & Development QUALIFICATION: •B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Chemistry, preferably Synthetic Organic or Chemical Engineering degree EXPERIENCE: •Postgraduate industrial or academic experience in synthetic organic chemistry is preferred. Experience with scaling up chemical process design at a pharmaceutical and/or fine chemical company is an additional asset SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: •Knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and the methods and techniques involved in preparative organic chemistry •Knowledge of chemical process safety and the rationale for inherently safe chemical processes and the basis of safety •Ability to gather thermal, chemical and reactive hazard information from literature sources such as Brethrick’s, RTECS, Material Safety Data Sheets, etc; •Application of thermal analysis techniques such as DSC, and reaction calorimetry •Ability to interpret thermal analysis data •Ability to strictly adhere to safety standards, housekeeping processes and Standard Operating Procedures •General software application knowledge and experience (e.g. database, word processor). More specific process safety software (ie Leadscope, Sarah, Derek) are an asset KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Conduct theoretical thermal analysis of proposed chemical procedures •Perform thermal analysis of reaction materials (e.g. raw materials, intermediates, products and reaction mixtures) and/or manage outsourcing of such analysis •Evaluate thermal stability of reaction materials •Perform experiments to characterize the thermal behaviour of chemical reactions •Interpret and document experimental results and observations •Share conclusions and provide recommendations for the safe introduction of procedures into production •Maintain process safety laboratory instrumentation •Consult with others including R+D chemists in the development of a safe, scalable chemical processes •Participate in opportunities to develop knowledge of process chemistry, current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP) and safety •Contribute to the continuous improvement of process safety systems and procedures •Perform other duties as assigned
