    POSITION OVERVIEWPitcher & Doyle is seeking an experienced Client Care Representative to support our underwriting team, reporting to the Director, Underwriting. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong administrative and conflict-resolution skills who is looking to grow within the insurance industry. Comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship will be provided.
    Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of contact for client and broker inquiries, delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic serviceSupport policy administration, including documentation review, data validation, endorsements, cancellations, and general processingCoordinate premium finance agreements, client communications, and follow-upsProvide administrative and customer support related to claims, including intake coordination and status updatesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and issue resolutionAssist with general administrative tasks and contribute to process improvementsParticipate in ongoing training and professional development
    Qualifications3–5 years of experience in customer service and/or administrative roles (call centre experience an asset)General Insurance Level 1 licence or ability to obtainExposure to claims processes and/or premium finance considered an assetStrong attention to detail, documentation, and follow-up skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated conflict-resolution skills with a customer-first mindsetProficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and WordExperience working with CRM, client databases, or policy administration systemsComfortable working within established procedures in a regulated environment

    Pitcher & Doyle is hiring for a Senior Commercial Underwriter to develop profitable, long-term accounts and broker relationships for a National Dealership program by assessing risk eligibility and negotiating appropriate pricing and terms for New Business and Renewals.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Provide technical underwriting expertise for your Portfolio of Dealership accounts includingProperty, Casualty, Garage and Specialty lines of business• Working for a national MGA, accept risks on behalf of the insurer subject to established authoritylevels• Analyze and evaluate results for your National Portfolio using individual or collaborative judgment to ensure that profit and growth goals are met• While working in a team environment, provide exceptional service to your assigned brokers andtheir portfolio• Mentor junior underwriting staff aiding in their career development• Communicate results, outstanding issues, national industry trends and business opportunities to the Management team• Build strong relationships with our key brokers working with them to generate new businessopportunities• Provide support for special projects and any other duties as required
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • University / College degree• Minimum 5 years of Commercial underwriting experience• CIP designation or working towards completion• CRM, FCIP is an asset• In-depth technical knowledge and experience working in both Property/Casualty and GarageAutomobile lines of business• Exceptional knowledge of Commercial underwriting principles, concepts andmethodologies• Extensive knowledge of Regional Commercial rates and pricing to effectively underwrite andattract target business across Canada• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team• Strong oral and written communication skills• Computer skills that include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote) and AppliedEPIC• Superior customer service skills and business acumen
