  • As a Technical Service Representative , you will represent PPG at a customer facility by providing outstanding customer service and focusing your concentration on liquid paint. Specialized training, as necessary, will be provided. You will report to the Optima Solutions Manager and be based onsite in Guelph, Ontario at Polycon. Key Responsibilities Support the ongoing activities of onsite PPG customer team at automotive production facilities by communicating cross‑functionally to understand customer concerns, collecting data, and taking appropriate actions to help resolve customer issues. Ensure plant operations are functional and provide the customer with proactive support as needed. Communicate updates to PPG Technical and account management effectively and efficiently. Perform tasks at the direction of the PPG leadership while ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental protocol is always followed. Provide resolutions to customer inquiries, application process monitoring, inventory monitoring, material ordering, and hands‑on support, generating reports as necessary. Effectively explain complex ideas to both technical and non‑technical audiences to ensure customer needs are met. Participate in weekly meetings with technical experts to review site projects and activity. Engage daily with customers to provide feedback from collected data; answer questions and provide recommendations as needed. Record weekly inventories and communicate status both externally and internally. Use PPG digital tools to capture critical data and facilitate problem solving. Display accountability to meet commitments and take ownership of appointed tasks. Provide sales support to maintain/expand business and ensure effective start‑up of new products. Support any special projects, as needed. Qualifications HS diploma or equivalent is required. 2+ years field experience with various industrial coating technologies. Experience with pretreatment and electrocoat would be advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft programs – Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, PowerPoint, etc. Comfortable working in a customer production environment, around automated equipment, and able to lift ~30 lbs. on a limited basis. Works collaboratively with team members to address and overcome challenges. Salary & Benefits The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 CAD, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 4.5% of base salary.     As a Commercial Territory Manager , you will be accountable to develop profitable new Light Industrial Coatings business for the Automotive Refinish group. The Commercial Territory Manager will work in partnership with the assigned Territory Managers, Architectural stores and Architectural dealers using our Light Industrial Coatings distributors to accomplish growth goals. You will report to the Sr. Regional Sales Manager and will focus your time on industrial sales growth and account maintenance. Territory coverage includes Eastern Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Key Responsibilities Manage direct and distributor sales within the territory. Be the PPG Commercial Coatings' primary representative and technical resource.     Line Operator – Afternoon Shift PPG Canada is hiring a Line Operator for its Afternoon shift. The role is critical to ensuring a quality product is available to customers when needed. Job Purpose The main purpose of the Line Operator is to be accountable for all aspects of the filling of production batches to within specification following all procedures and practices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment while maintaining quality standards. Job Responsibilities Perform all duties according to SOPs, GMPs and all other established safety standards and company policies. Correctly complete all documentation as per SOPs and GMP requirements, i.e., observations, test results, batch record information, etc. Notify management in the event of a departure from procedure, product defect, safety incident or other serious problem. Dismantle, clean, sanitize and assemble processing equipment according to established SOPs to ensure hygiene compliance. Safely operate all required equipment and machinery including those used to manufacture, store, clean and transport production related assets. Execute applicable SAP transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Effectively process batches within specifications to meet department batch execution targets by ensuring optimal cycle times in support of schedule adherence. Complete daily administrative tasks in a timely manner. Ensure the proper selection, care and use of tools, parts and equipment while performing all job related duties. Escalate manufacturing related issues to the appropriate support groups (QA, Process, Maintenance, Operations) and help in the resolution and 5‑why analysis.
