This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of experience in similar roles, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and be enthusiastic about transitioning to new systems and technologies. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of AP specialists, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture. Oversee the full‑cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor reconciliations, and month‑end close activities. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Prepare and analyze AP reports, metrics, and dashboards for management review. Support ERP system transitions and upgrades, including testing, training, and documentation. Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage escalations professionally. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5–10 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Proven experience supervising and developing teams. Strong understanding of ERP systems and willingness to lead system transitions. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
