Hiring a caregiver for a 30-year-old woman with physical disabilities and requiring complex medical care. This position will be working in the client’s home to assist with daily tasks and requires the employee to be timely, organized and considerate. The shifts will largely occur in the morning and evening, and will begin in September. Responsibilities and Duties • Assist with personal care including showering, washing hair, and dressing • Assist with transfers- no actual lifting • Stretching as directed by physiotherapy • Prepare parental nutrition and care for central line and feeding tube • Medication preparation • Simple meal prep and light housekeeping • Other tasks as assigned Requirements • SIN number and legally able to work in Canada • Fluent in English (spoken and written) • First aid certified • Up to date immunizations • License and vehicle an asset- some appointments in cities • Prior experience is an asset but not required as training will be provided
