ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Driver Guide: Someone who leads a group through interpretative experience, while safely operating a commercial vehicle. Following road laws, is courteous to other drivers and sets a good example on the road. An Open Top Touring Driver Guide is more than just a regular driver guide - they are memory makers, developers of entertaining educational experiences, purveyors of authentic passion, and smile providers. Follow all instructions regarding operations from base and coordinators, while staying on time and schedule. Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections at the compound. Have a good understanding of tour routes and content, to deliver a unique interpretive experience in a fun, safe and engaging way during 90-minute loops. Greet guests, welcome them onboard and be responsible for their safety both while on the tour and at designated stops, ensuring that all guests are accounted for. Prepare for tours including printing passenger manifests, preparing beverage service and cleaning/sanitizing vehicles. Maintaining all logs and/or paperwork required by Transport Canada daily, including Vehicle Inspection Report and Electronic Logging Device and/or Driver Logbook Wear a unique uniform while using provided props and materials to bring content to life. Performing Pursuit Adventure Centre / Transportation Desk Agent duties, including ticket sales, retail sales of merchandise, operating the Point-of-Sale system and cash handling including cash-ins/outs. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Safety-minded with an Alberta Class 4 driver's license and valid Commercial Drivers Abstract. Alberta Class 4 is a commercial license for 24-passenger vehicles. To obtain this license you need to pass a Driver Medical, and a written knowledge test that shows that you know the rules of the road. Drivers' training will be provided, as well as assistance in obtaining an Alberta Class 4 driver's license. Ability to comply with National Safety Code regulations, US Department of Transport regulations, Transport Canada regulations and our corporate policies including Drug and Alcohol policies. This role begins as soon as possible! ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES The Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory (SRI) Department is responsible for all shipping and receiving activities at The Banff Gondola. With particular emphasis on Food and Beverage Departments and Retail outlets, the SRI department also supports related activities for Guest Experience, Buildings and Grounds, Operations, Programming, and Administration. The SRI Department leads shipping activities between the Gondola's upper and lower terminals using the gondola, ensuring all teams' inventory/stock needs are met. Additionally, the SRI Department supports the movement of waste and recycling between terminals, as well as special event supplies and equipment. As the Shipping Receiving & Inventory Manager at the Banff Gondola you will maintain orderly and organized supply and inventory storage areas (back of house storage rooms, hallway storage areas, garage, indoor Canmore storage) and works closely with F&B Managers and Retail Managers, maximizing business efficiency and providing monthly and annual inventory management support. Lead and manage a team of permanent and seasonal staff Maintain and staff regular shipping and receiving hours, optimizing use of the gondola during peak season. Work closely with leaders to provide appropriate support to all Gondola departments, with particular emphasis on F&B and Retail teams. Support F&B and Retail department monthly and annual inventory processes. Enhance and implement SRI Department SOPs. Ensure systems are in place to confirm accuracy in deliveries, shipments, and ongoing inventory management. Minimize product loss, shrinkage, and spoilage. Manage and keep orderly all related shipping, receiving, storage spaces (garage, retail storage, food & beverage storage, Canmore storage, walk-in fridges and freezers, back parking lot, etc). Oversee and manage shipping of all goods to and from upper terminal.
