    What will your day look like? Our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is an integral part of QA Consultants. You will be part of our talent acquisition team and responsible for full-cycle recruitment process for Quality Assurance & other positions in Canada and the U.S.A. You will develop a recruitment strategy, actively source & screen candidates, presenting successful candidates to hiring managers for consideration with expert summaries and recommendations, and ultimately be responsible for ensuring QA Consultants hires the most talented professionals in the industry.
    Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management or equivalent work experience
    Required Skills & Experience
    5+ years experience in end-to-end technical recruitment, preferably in quality roles Experience working in an outbound recruiting or sales position would be an asset Ability to learn, retain and apply technical information and new concepts A passion for recruitment with an ability to build strong relationships and networking Go-getter attitude, self confident and self-motivated Strong interpersonal skills and creative thinking Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to change Time and priority management skills

    Senior Solution Engineer (Dev Ops)
    Job Type: Contract (1 year) Primary Location: Victoria - British Columbia (Hybrid - 3 Days onsite)
    We currently have an opportunity to be a Senior Solution Engineer (Dev Ops) , supporting a client. Client is embarking on a multi-year initiative to improve its agility and IT cost effectiveness with cloud technologies. The DevOps Specialist is part of the DevOps team within the Information Technology Engineering Branch. This team determines approaches, process, and procedures for integrating new technology into the existing and new application infrastructure(s); implements and maintains core application infrastructure; and manages DevOps solutions that automate processes and enable product teams to deliver quality applications. The DevOps Specialist maintains all DevOps tools and related services required to support client's application development and implements and maintains build/deployment/release processes for all applications within client.
    Required Skills :
    5+ years of hands-on experience with deploying and integrating complex systems with a variety of operating system environments 5+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps tooling for development and deployment (for example GitHub, Docker, JFrog Artifactory, terraform). 5+ years of experience with Azure 5+ years of hands-on advanced scripting experience required (e.g. bash & python) Develop, maintain, and configure automation processes for build/deployment/release pipelines/workflows Provide guidelines and best practices for DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Automation and Software delivery best practices within our development teams Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended Develop and maintain deployment/release automation reporting Administer GitHub, JFrog Artifactory and Ansible Tower infrastructure including operational support and system maintenance Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure

  • Automation Specialist  

    Application Testing Automation Specialist Job Type: Contract Primary Location: Hybrid – Ottawa, Ontario
    Job Description:
    The project involves the automation of many existing and some new applications. Working closely with major stakeholders, developers and clients, the resource will identify test cases that have the potential to be automated and provide expertise to complete the automation using Smartbears TestComplete, and any new technology deemed appropriate. The resource will also be required to determine, implement and configure the underlying architecture to support these tools and automation processes. For accessibility testing, the resource must be familiar with AODA legislation, WCAG success criteria and methods to remediate, especially for Power BI applications

    Requirements:
    12 years Performing Quality Assurance Testing, with strong focus on Performing Quality Assurance testing using automated testing tools and scripts 12 years Writing, revising and verifying quality standards, test plans and test procedures to ascertain the quality of both In-house built, third-party software products and web-based applications 12 years Developing test automation strategies along with creating scripts and debugging automation code for Web applications 12 years Developing testing frameworks for complex software applications using (at a minimum) requirements documents and client interviews as input. 12 years Planning and implementing automation test plans 12 years of Strong understanding of Java code Development, with strong focus on developing test automation scripts in JavaScript 8 years experience Performing AODA accessibility audits on Power BI and web applications 8 years Working knowledge of WCAG standards and methods for remediation 8 years experience Creating, editing and running test scripts using SmartBear’s TestExecute application.
