  • Social Content Producer  

    - Toronto

    In this role, you'll ideate, develop, and execute content for Red Bull Canada's social media platforms with focus on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YT Shorts. We're looking for an expert in producing content that is creative and optimized for each social platform.

    This individual will shoot, produce and edit social content and will be responsible for the social content workflows from ideation to delivery. They'll specialize in event support and social capture on shoots and integrate seamlessly into external production teams as needed. This role sits within the Media Channels team and supports the broader Media Network in delivering year-long, cross-platform content.

    This role involves collaborating with social media managers, designers, producers and other stakeholders to ensure content is optimized for each platform and contributes to audience engagement and growth. You'll be working behind the scenes, pitching and planning creative concepts while executing on the front lines, shooting and producing in an effort to relay content to the post-production phase and across the finish line with impactful edits. You'll blend your production and editing skills to bring concepts to life and help lay the foundation of how we continue to expand our brand's social footprint and audience of Canadian consumers.

    All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

    CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT

    Work closely with Media Network colleagues to develop short-form content ideas by providing creative input while taking social platform best practices into consideration. Collaborate with Social Channels teammates and work cross-functionally with Marketing stakeholders to plan and prepare social content shoots supporting projects and events. Help develop detailed storyboards, scripts and hooks, and identify key story beats to ensure content resonates and drives engagement. Coordinate with colleagues and stakeholders through every phase of a project or event requiring social content support. Communicate clearly and effectively, providing updates on project progress and timelines. Collaborate with external partners, such as creators, athletes, media and more to help bring ideas to life through development, alignment and execution. Help create efficient workflows for social content projects between production teams, contractors, third party partners and Media Network colleagues. Collaborate with the Global channel teams to ensure alignment in brand messaging and content strategy. Lead content management processes: tracking and storing raw footage, and ingesting edits into content management systems.

    SOCIAL CONTENT PRODUCTION

    Plan and execute video shoots, capturing footage that aligns with the creative vision and our brand guidelines, while working within project framework, allocated budget, and timespan. Ultimately delivering content that is premium and high quality. Support shoot logistics by helping secure locations and equipment, briefing talent an ensuring production team members are prepared and ready to capture content. Manage setup through wrap, ensuring proper exposure, audio levels, and file integrity. Work with Media Channels counterparts to optimize content delivery for different channels, ensuring each asset meets technical specs and best practices for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook.

    SOCIAL CONTENT EDITING

    Manage and coordinate post-production and editing. Depending on the scope of the shoot, you'll either work on editing and finalizing assets for delivery yourself, or work with production partners to ensure delivery of assets. Lead the creative development of new visual effects graphic packages for short-form content or images. Create templates and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency. Add captions, subtitles, and other visual elements to improve accessibility and engagement. Export and deliver final videos in various formats suitable for different social media platforms. Utilize platform-specific tools and editing techniques to maximize content reach and engagement. Support with color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production techniques to enhance video quality. Source and vet content from Red Bull's archival library and repurpose by editing optimized assets based on social best practices.

    Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

    5+ years of experience in the social media industry with platform-specific storytelling expertise.
    Excellent writing skills for script development and strong video editing and effects knowledge.
    Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, TikTok Editor, Capcut, and Instagram Reels Video Editor – 'Edits'.
    Excellent creative and technical skills in video production and editing.
    Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing for short-form content.
    Hands-on experience with professional and prosumer video cameras, iPhones, microphones/recorders (wired and wireless), lighting kits, stabilizers/support rigs, and related accessories.
    Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing social media landscape.
    Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    Passion for social media and a drive to create content that resonates with audiences.
    Team player mentality with deep understanding of platform differences and tailoring content accordingly.

    The expected annual base salary range for this position is $73,150 to $80,850. The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of Red Bull's bonus plan.

This role provides technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth operations for end-users. The IT Specialist will actively work to enhance user satisfaction by leveraging Red Bull's IT service management processes and adhering to global IT standards. Responsibilities include maintaining an accurate and secure inventory of end-user devices, branch office IT equipment and services, as well as supporting local IT and business projects.     The Key Account Manager (KAM) main priorities are selling and executing Red Bull strategy and initiatives to local key account chains (KA). Influencing execution of regional programs via local Decision Makers (DMs), key responsibilities include: owning local key account budgets, market share and sales volume; developing productive business relationships with assigned key accounts; and developing solutions that resonate with customer needs while achieving Red Bull's goals.

    Executes distribution on priority packages in-line with HQ recommendations. Ensures all assigned key account's schematics reflect Red Bull standards. Develops annual promotion schedule in accordance with national goals. Creatively sells Red Bull standards and 4P strategy in a way that resonates with the customer's needs. Ensures all promotions are accompanied by effective POS and incremental displays. Customizes sales pitch to achieve account goals while driving effective, permanent displays. Evaluates ROI prior to recommending specific POS or customized solutions. Determine GAP within Regional key accounts and build plans to address them.

    MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS THAT INFLUENCE REGIONAL ACCOUNTS

    Actively develops relationships with key decision makers via business reviews, communication, etc. Drives execution of account programs through local Decision Makers (DMs). Consistently pursues incremental opportunities over-and-above programs. Maintains key point of local knowledge regarding accounts. Routinely engages in opportunities to build relationships and 'wire' key accounts beyond buyer level.

    BUDGETS/ANNUAL PLANNING

    Constructs annual Customer Marketing Agreements and manages associated funds for all designated key accounts on a weekly and monthly basis.

    BUSINESS ANALYSIS

    Works with Category Analyst to evaluate ROI in regards to 'pay-for-space' agreements and communicates key learnings to National Accounts Director. Drives post-promotion analysis to evaluate promotional effectiveness.

    BUSINESS REVIEWS

    Conductus quarterly business reviews. Proactively shares examples of Red Bull marketing activities to demonstrate key points of difference to competition. Provides Energy Insights that drive change in promotion, price, or display practices.

    COMMUNICATION WITH FIELD TEAMS

    Uses appropriate communication processes to keep Field Teams informed of Key Account programs and initiatives Routinely visits Field Teams to ensure personal contact and open lines of communication

    Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

    Minimum 3 years Sales experience (or equivalent category management experience) with a strong track record of success, preferably in beverage, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industries or within a Direct Store Delivery DSD) operation.
    Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, IRI).
    Excellent communication and active listening skills.
    Creative, solution-oriented mindset.
    Self-motivated and able to work independently.
    Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    Previous experience with SAP preferred.
    Knowledge of regional major accounts operation, an asset.
    Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
