About the Role As our HR Senior Manager, you’ll be the operational anchor turning compliance requirements into practical solutions, lead end-to-end delivery of HR initiatives, and ensure every process is consistent, compliant, and complete. From optimizing our HR systems to running clean audits and empowering managers, you’ll help make Renewal by Andersen of BC a place where structure fuels growth. What You’ll Do Compliance & Risk Management Own and maintain the compliance calendar and internal controls across the U.S. and Canada, including: U.S. : Employment, wage & hour, FLSA, FMLA/leave, ADA, EEO/AA, I-9/E-Verify, and state/local statutes. Canada : Employment Standards Acts (, Human Rights Codes, Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, and privacy laws. Ensure adherence to Canadian Employment Standards , including minimum wage compliance, hours of work and overtime, vacation pay, statutory holidays, termination notice, and record-keeping requirements. Partner with Legal and external advisors to interpret new legislation and proactively adjust internal policies. Lead internal and external audits; document and close compliance gaps with well-defined, trackable corrective actions. Keep all handbooks and policies current, practical, and clearly written—removing legal jargon to create accessible guidance for managers and employees. Build and deliver proactive training for managers (harassment prevention, accommodations, timekeeping, documentation, workplace safety) that drives real adoption. Operational Projects & Execution Drive delivery of cross-border people operations projects, including HRIS/ATS enhancements, onboarding modernization, and vendor consolidation. Create detailed project plans timelines, owners, dependencies, metrics and ensure accountability through completion. Collaborate with Finance and Legal to align systems, mitigate risk, and streamline reporting across jurisdictions. Ensure compliance-driven workflows (from onboarding to offboarding) meet both U.S. and Canadian standards without unnecessary complexity. People Operations Enablement Develop manager toolkits with clear SOPs, templates, and checklists that improve consistency and reduce rework. Build and maintain HR dashboards that translate data into actionable insights ensuring leadership visibility into trends, risks, and progress. What You Bring 5+ years in HR management or operations with proven ownership of compliance and program execution across the U.S. and/or Canada. Strong understanding of U.S. employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, I-9/E-Verify) and Canadian legislation . Experience implementing or optimizing HRIS/ATS systems , policies, and workflows. Data fluency comfortable with dashboards, reporting, and metrics-driven decision-making. Excellent communication, able to explain regulatory requirements clearly and coach teams toward compliance and accountability. Bonus Points SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR; CPHR or CHRL an asset. Exposure to OFCCP compliance , multi-state/multi-province environments, and cross-border payroll or benefits . Familiarity with HR data tools (Excel, Sheets, BI dashboards). Experience supporting audits, pay equity reviews, or vendor negotiations with Legal and Finance.     About the Role As our Logistics Leader , you'll oversee warehousing and logistics operations across British Columbia and Alaska. You'll be responsible for staffing, process optimization, consumables management, fleet, and property operations, all while driving consistency and efficiency between locations. A major part of this role will be building systems and standardizing processes that define how we operate. You'll design and implement standard operating procedures, improve workflows, and help shape a scalable structure for future growth. You'll also sit as a member of our Health and Safety Team, leading initiatives that promote a strong safety culture across all sites.
