    About the team + role As Robinhood’s infrastructure engineering, we are on a mission to provide Robinhood product teams a world‑class platform that enables rapid product development by making infrastructure invisible and highly available.

    The mission of Software Platform, of which Compute is a part, is to accelerate developer velocity and increase system reliability by building the foundational software platforms and tools that power the rest of Robinhood engineering.

    The Compute team at Robinhood is solely responsible for building a highly available, horizontally scalable, secure, best‑in‑industry (for Robinhood scale) offering of Kubernetes‑powered container provisioning APIs that seamlessly integrate with the rest of infrastructure and platform offerings from other teams. This team’s primary focus is to proactively ensure scalability, reliability and availability of our Kubernetes distribution. This includes the deployment topology and configuration of the OSS components we build upon and all the extensions we build.

    The Compute team is the key contributor for enabling a multi‑region future for Robinhood’s platform and infrastructure services. This helps the platform services scale without adding additional complexity to our application developers. APIs and systems managed by this team are also responsible for transparent platform integrations (sidecars, daemonsets) that offer core capabilities (Auth, Security, DNS, Load Balancing, Storage) offered to the tenants (applications) making this an area of huge importance to the overall safety and reliability of Robinhood and its value to be a safety‑first company.

    What You’ll Do

    What You Bring

    Expert knowledge of Kubernetes control plane and data plane components.

    The Infrastructure Organization builds and operates the foundational systems that power all of Robinhood’s products and services.     The Provisioning team focuses on infrastructure lifecycle management across AWS and Kubernetes environments. This team builds systems and controllers that provision infrastructure, supports application teams with cloud resources, and improves developer workflows for deploying and managing services.

    The Kubernetes Compute team builds and operates a highly available, scalable Kubernetes-based compute platform.     The Technical Assurance Platform team builds and maintains a centralized service catalog and systems that track service ownership, performance, and reliability across Robinhood’s infrastructure.     Senior Software Developer , you will lead the design and delivery of infrastructure platforms and systems that support developers and services across Robinhood.     What You’ll Do

    Proactively hunt and map criminal ecosystems targeting Robinhood and its customers, then translate intelligence into scalable systems and coordinated defenses that disrupt adversaries before they cause harm.

    Build and operationalize a comprehensive “Universe of Threats” by identifying, tracking, and prioritizing adversaries across phishing, scams, impersonation, fraud, and infrastructure abuse.

    What You Bring

    8–12+ years of total experience, including 3–5+ years operating at a senior or staff‑level scope in threat intelligence, brand protection, or cyber investigations.

    Hands‑on experience tracking criminal ecosystems tied to phishing, scams, impersonation, fraud, and infrastructure abuse, and the ability to move from isolated indicators to campaign‑ and actor‑level analysis.

    Deep familiarity with domain registration patterns, DNS and certificate transparency analysis, cloud and hosting abuse across providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, VPS), and attacker monetization methods.
