    We are seeking a Highly Skilled and passionate Senior Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will a ssist in leading staff within the process team on major projects while also supporting other business divisions and stakeholders. You will need a strong passion for people management, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
    Lead and mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
    Monitoring and control engineering deliverables to stay on budget and schedule. 
    Support process engineers on major projects, ensuring quality deliverables within budget.
    Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
    Technical Expertise
    Handle all technical aspects of process engineering: developing process design criteria, engineering calculations, simulations (AspenPlus, HYSYS), PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing/specifications, and report writing.
    Utilize industry-standard hydraulic assessment tools and dynamic simulations (an asset).
    Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate best practices into projects.
    Communicate effectively with project management and engineering disciplines to achieve project objectives.
    Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners to define project requirements.
    Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and project updates for diverse audiences.
    Ensure project compliance with all relevant systems, standards, and procedures.
    Implement project protocols, including change management.
    Maintain a focus on health, safety, and environmental standards within project designs
    Serve as the Responsible Member by understanding and ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements set forth by professional associations
    Support business development initiatives by participating in setting organizational goals and aligning project strategies.
    Bachelor's degree in an applicable field from a recognized institution.
    Experience: 10-15 years of relevant technical and leadership experience.
    Technical Proficiency:
    Experience with dynamic simulations (an asset).
    Knowledge of process/technology scale-up from lab to commercial scale.
    Language: Bilingual (English/French) is preferred.
    Project Delivery: Experience in delivering major projects (up to $200MM TIC).
    Travel: Available to travel to customer sites and all SDE regional offices as required.
