    What You’ll Be Working On Responsible for overall management and direction of the store and team in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Ensures financial results of the store, including sales, on‑site donations (OSDs), expenses and profits, meet or exceed target. Have a constant focus on growing the business through full utilization of every OK, followed by increasing OK volume as appropriate.     Store Performance

    Ensure store performance meets targets in sales, profit, OSDs, production and productivity based on annual expectations.

    Merchandise Productivity

    Manage full utilization of the OK to maximize sales and profit potential.

    Inspect execution of the Morning Maintenance program to ensure sales floor ready each morning.

    Audit merchandise and prices rolled to and off the floor.

    Provide oversight for the work schedules to meet and exceed customer and donor expectations.

    Ensure execution of merchandise standards and initiatives, as well as sales & marketing promotions.

    Ensure that the sales floor/donor areas are continuously monitored, and team member activity is directed to meet standards.

    Plan and implement seasonal backstock, merchandising and other strategic programs.

    Ensure the Savers’ recycling program is fully leveraged to reduce landfill and allow for further reuse of unsold/un‑saleable items.

    Donation Management

    Execute all company standards in the Community Donation Center (CDC), Donation Drive Fundraiser (DDF), and Get to Give programs.

    Oversee efforts inside and outside the store to create community awareness of the CDC, the company brand and the benefits of donating to Savers.

    Develop partnerships with local organizations seeking cash fundraising opportunities and partner with them on DDF events.

    Develop partnerships and community awareness with local non‑profit organizations (e.g., schools, shelters) that may benefit from free receipt of merchandise that the store would otherwise recycle.

    Customer/Donor Service

    Deliver a positive and unforgettable customer/donor experience by setting the example for training and coaching of customer and donor service expectations.

    Receive and respond to customer/donor questions, requests, and complaints.

    Ensure a quick, accurate and positive cash register experience for customers.

    Ensure a quick and informative experience for donors.

    Actively engage with the customer/donor by seeking firsthand feedback to make improvements to all aspects of the shopping and donor experience.

    Guide the RSM in implementing set‑up of sales and marketing promotions & programs.

    Assist donors per Company standards.

    Loss Prevention and Safety

    Protect company assets and information by ensuring their safe handling, security and integrity.

    Proactively promote loss prevention awareness by upholding procedures and ensuring policies are in place.

    Maintain a safe work environment through education, consistent follow up, ensuring policies and procedures are in place, and supporting the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).

    Additional Responsibilities Responsible for overall management and direction of all supervisors and team members in accordance with Savers’ policies and applicable laws. This includes implementing and administering company programs, policies, and procedures.
