The incumbent will provide support to our Legal Counsel. What You Will Do: Provide legal support with respect to claims, including investigating, analyzing, managing, negotiating and resolving claims. Provide legal leadership on behalf of STC for the drafting and negotiation of key subcontract and supply agreements, and other related documents. Identify core legal and commercial issues of importance to STC and work closely with project leadership to prepare negotiation positions and advocate said positions with counter-parties. Provide legal support for the project team with particular emphasis on supporting the subcontract administration team and commercial team. Manage and monitor compliance with STC’s policies in relation to subcontracts. Build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with senior project leadership external counsel, consultants and other stakeholders. You have demonstrated versatility with the ability to learn new project delivery models. You have demonstrated verbal reasoning skills with the ability to interpret the precise definition of written documents such as contracts, legislation and case decisions.
