Reporting to the Manager of Security and Infrastructure at the District Facilities Centre. The Tradesperson-Painter is responsible for a variety of projects including renovations, repairs, and new installations in over 140 school district sites and offices. The successful applicant must be a team-player ready to be part of a cohesive, effective team of professionals in the Maintenance Infrastructure Department who hold great pride in their work. The department requires applicants to be prepared to work effectively in a small team as well as independently to complete top quality work in a timely fashion. This is a temporary assignment that will work 37.5 hours/week with and end date of September 19th, 2025 (with possibility of extension) or until incumbent returns from leave. As communication is critical to this role, strong English language written and spoken communication skills are required.
