In this position you will lead a team of designers on mineral processing plant studies and engineering projects, preparing and overseeing concept and layout design drawings. Responsibilities Manage and lead a team of experienced designers in large and complex detail design processes, against project scope, budget, and schedule. Lead model review meetings, resolve layout issues, and coordinate inputs and actions for the drafting team. Develop detailed designs, models, drawings, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. Prepare PFS and detailed design drawings of plant equipment, services, or other structures as directed. Oversee the preparation of design & detail drawings from plans, sketches, or other design specification data and relevant regulations, codes, and standards. Direct the work of detail and design drafters; ensure the drawings comply with plans to conform to the specifications supplied. Manage and communicate project and quality expectations to maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects and teams. Forecast, control and monitor budget hours and manpower loading against deliverables. Provide input and support to proposal and estimates.
