Our office is seeking a Systems Integration manager to join our Toronto team. **Must be local to Toronto area to be considered** This position will be to work on various projects in Rail (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars) in the Toronto office. Responsibilities of the role: This role will have a view of, and perform a practical implementation of, a holistic, top down systems engineering approach that considers the System as a whole (not a collection of individual systems, or projects). This role will also be responsible for:the application of a lifecycle approach (the entire spectrum of activity for a given system, commencing with the identification of need and extending through system design and development, construction/manufacture/installation, operational use and maintenance, system retirement and disposal). Other duties: Requirements management Interface management Verification and validation management Configuration management Role requirements: Software / Systems / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineer with a holistic, systemic view of the projects Experience in the application of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 Systems and software engineering -- System life cycle processes Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Systems Engineering / Systems Integration Management tasks Must have local experience to the market in the Toronto area Must have proven track record in the Rail & transit field in Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr

Position This position will be to work on projects for Rail (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars) in the head Toronto office downtown. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in office. Responsibilities Receive and distribute project documentation Maintain the project document system Ensure that documents are authorized, issued, and distributed correctly Provide a single coordination point for the management of project construction documents and records Monitor the effectiveness of digital delivery platforms and where necessary, identify and implement improvements to maintain efficiency Manage the project’s paper-based systems for the storage, distribution, retrieval of documentation and records Provide an elevated level of quality assurance and technical review on all document management system matters relating to the project Consult with document originators, subcontractors, and other construction staff and / or designers to ensure accuracy and to resolve discrepancies relating to Procore Ensure the construction, procurement and commissioning teams have access to the correct documentation and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance Must be able to demonstrate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and an engineering or construction-oriented Document Management System. Knowledge of or certification in Aconex and Procore is an asset Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and the ability to collaborate within an international project team environment. Qualifications Excellent coordination and organizational skills are essential 5-6 years’ experience in document control with a Rail or Civil engineering firm Experience in a fast paced environment Rail or large civil project experience in Toronto an asset Must possess the ability to organize, schedule and coordinate own workload to meet established deadlines and milestones.
