Potato Production Farm Worker / Equipment Operator

About the Role
We are a progressive potato production farm seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our production team. This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in all stages of potato production—from planting through harvest and storage.
The successful candidate will work with modern equipment in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality crops, and is interested in building long-term skills within a professional agricultural operation.
Key Responsibilities
>Assist with all stages of potato production, including planting, irrigation, crop maintenance, harvesting, and storage
>Operate and maintain farm machinery (training provided where required)
>Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
>Assist with irrigation setup, monitoring, and adjustments
>Follow food safety, workplace safety, and biosecurity protocols
>Work extended hours during peak seasons as required
>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications & Skills
>Previous farm or agricultural experience preferred (potato experience an asset, but not required)
>Experience operating agricultural equipment is an asset
>Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
>Ability to work independently and as part of a team
>Physically capable of performing manual tasks in outdoor conditions
>Willingness to learn and take direction
>Valid driver’s license preferred (Class 1 an asset; willing to train the right candidate)
