    About the JobA leading global mining company located in Goderich, Ontario is seeking a Benefits Administrator to join their Human Resources team. This is a fully onsite position based at the company’s underground salt mine — the largest in the world — with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
    The Benefits Administrator will play a key role in managing Canadian employee benefits programs, disability management initiatives, and compliance with relevant legislation while supporting employees across all levels of the organization.
    The RoleThe selected candidate will oversee the day-to-day administration of group benefits and retirement programs, acting as the main point of contact for employee inquiries. They will lead disability management, ensure data integrity within HR systems, and collaborate with internal partners to support renewals and policy updates.This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and works closely with Corporate Benefits, payroll, and finance teams to maintain accurate, efficient, and compliant processes.
    Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister group benefits and retirement programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and renewals.Coordinate disability management and WSIB claims, leading return-to-work and accommodation processes.Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, leaves, and wellness programs.Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS systems and prepare reports, audits, and reconciliations.Support policy updates, annual renewals, and implementation of new benefit initiatives in collaboration with Corporate Benefits.
    QualificationsPost-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Canadian benefits administration within a corporate HR function.Strong understanding of Canadian benefits legislation, compliance requirements, and pension regulations.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with HRIS systems such as UKG or Dayforce is an asset.

  • A large soft rock mining company located in Goderich, Ontario is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to join their team. This is a fully onsite position, with no potential for Fly-In Fly-Out, but the client is willing to support relocation.


    The Role
    The selected candidate will oversee leading and implementing the EHS program, promoting safety culture and enhancing overall onsite safety. This person will be leading a team of ten EHS professionals, and collaborate with site personal, subcontractors, regulatory agencies and members of the corporate team. The candidate will be an active member of Joint Health and Safety Committee in order to assist in monitoring and advancing the EHS program.


    Key ResponsibilitiesOverall site risk management, change management and contractor management.Develop and implement new EHS policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with federal, provincial and municipal regulations.Coaching and mentoring the EHS team, leading to continuous improvement and an enhanced safety culture by identifying new coaching and training programs.Conduct Industrial Hygiene surveys and programs.


    QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in EHS, with the majority from a mining environment.Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety/industrial Hygiene or a related field.Strong leadership and communication skills,Advanced project management skills, with the ability to work on competing priorities simultaneously.
